Evergreen Country Club was a 36 hole golf facility located in Castleton On Hudson, New York. The facility had two 18-hole golf courses named Evergreen Country Club Course, The Private Course and Evergreen Country Club Course, The Public Course. Located on 320 rolling acres in Castleton on the Hudson in Rensselaer County, EverGreen was geared for the leisure enthusiast.
Both courses were parkland style with tree-lined fairways with elevation change, water on a number of holes, and moderate use of bunkers. Most of the holes are straightforward, but there are a few doglegs and placement shots required.

Evergreen Country Club Course, The Public Course opened in 1960. The Public Course was designed by Eddie VanKaempin.
The Public Course was the shorter of the two courses at 6,001 yards, par 70. The course rating was 68.0 and it had a slope rating of 111. The forward tees played to 5,510 yards.
The Private Course ____________________________
Evergreen Country Club Course, The Private Course, opened in 1962. The course was designed by Warren Davis.
The Private Course was 7,244 yards, par-72 from the championship tees, The course rating was 73.5 and it has a slope rating of 131. #14 was the signature hole with an island green. The forward tees measured 6,200 yards.
In 2021, both courses closed. The Public Course remains closed and The "Private" Course was remodeled and reopened in the summer of 2022 and renamed Olde Post Road Golf Club.
